First trip to the Dentist

We took Harper to the dentist today for her first visit.  We took her to Trussville Pediatric Dentist to see Dr. Massey and we really liked him.  Mrs. Tara counted her teeth and Harper has 20 teeth which is what she's supposed to have until she's six and then Mrs. Tara cleaned them.  Harper didn't really know what to expect and was very unsure.  She cried and they assured us that it's very common for the first and even second visit until they realize that it's not that bad after all.  Over all she got a good reportand has healthy teeth.

Getting ready to leave
She was tucked in and ready to go too

We were waiting for them to call us back and Harper was showing us how she was going to open her mouth for her cleaning
Daddy came too and Harper still showing us how wide she can open her mouth
This is what Henley did they whole time...even with Harper crying she never woke up
Mrs. Tara talking to Harper trying to get her to talk to her
Getting ready to put her bib on
and this is when it started!  She did NOT want that on her neck
She let her sit in my lap and lean back onto Tara's lap and that's how she cleaned them
Tara said she's very used to kids crying like this...
She was not happy
After she finished cleaning her teeth, Dr. Massey came in to check her.  He said her teeth looked good.
He was super nice and I highly recommend him.  When we left the room to walk out Harper said that it wasn't that bad--she's such a mess.  They gave Harper a token to use at these machines and Harper chose a ball.
They gave her a tshirt
and a goodie bag.  She let her pick out a new toothbrush and Harper chose a pink Cinderella toothbrush and it also had toothpaste and a kid flosser (which she told me I should be flossing her teeth 3-5 times a week!)  All day today when anyone asked Harper how her dentist trip was she tells them that kicked and cried-at least she tells the truth!  ;)
Tummy Time!
She has the sweetest little face and smile
We had our weekly dinner (Mexican) with two of our favorite people.  Harper loves them and so do we!
We have a busy weekend ahead but so glad tomorrow is Friday.  The countdown is on to meet my little nephew.  This time next week he'll be 2 days old!  So exciting and I can't wait to see my sister too.
Hope everyone has a great Friday!

Cute pictures. I can't even imagine what it will be like when we take Emma! I'm sure it will be just the same. I love how she tells everyone she kicked and screamed. Too cute!
