1st Day of School

My baby girl is growing up!  Harper started to school yesterday and was so excited to go.  She's going two days a week from 9:30-1:30.  Her best friend Emma is in her class so we hoped that would help since she knew someone.  She seems to really like her teacher, Ms Sam.  She's so sweet and I like her a lot too.

This is yesterday morning before we left.  I made her outfit because she had to have something special to wear on the first day!  I thought she looked precious!
Ready to go with her new backpack and new lunch bag.
Her backpack is as big as she is!
She did great going into the school which made me happy.  She's standing next to her cubby with her backpack and jacket.  She only got upset for a couple of minutes when she figured out that I wasn't staying but quit really quick.  I hung around to make sure she was ok and I saw that she was playing and seemed fine.  I knew once she got in there that she would enjoy being around other kids.
When I went to pick her up she was excited to see me and that made me feel good too.  She said that she had a lot of fun and wanted to go back.  Her teacher was shocked at how well she did considering it was her first time to be left like that with someone other than family.  Ms Sam said she played and talked a lot.  I'm so glad that she had fun!

Ms Sam gave Harper a Valentine goody bag.
More exciting news...
Henley finally decided to start rolling over!  She actually rolled over for the first time last Thursday while we were at my sisters.  I'm so glad that I was standing there to see it.  Last night I was able to get it on camera.  She is such a sweet little baby!

Playing her favorite game...Memory game!
and then she had to do a little reading before bed too.

My sister posted the sweetest post on her blog today about her new baby boy with a lot of pictures.  Check it out here!
