Blake and I joined the local gym this past weekend and Harper and I decided to go yesterday. I asked Harper while we were getting ready if she wanted to go and play with some kids and she said yeah and got excited. Those of you who know me really well know that I haven't left her with anyone besides family and I haven't even done that too many times. She hasn't been left in any kind of nursery so I wondered how she would do. This picture is of her getting ready to leave the house. (I couldn't get her to look at me.) So we get there and we walk in the kids room and there are several kids in there and some older kids since it's spring break. Harper said out loud "hey kids!" It was so cute. A little boy walked right up to Harper and waved at her and handed her a toy. She grabbed my leg and said "mommy" and I told her it's ok. She then walked away and went to the kitchen set they had in there and found a little girl that was probably 6 or 7 years old and started giving her hugs. She looked happy and content so I left her to go and walk on the treadmill. I told the girl working in there that if she started crying to come and get me but she never did. When I went back to get her she was sitting in the same little girls lap. She saw me come in and she came up to me and I asked her if she had fun and she said yes. I wanted to take a picture of her when I dropped her off since it was her first day being left in a nursery but I didn't want them to think I was a crazy person so the one before we left will have to do. I was relieved that she did so well.
Today when I went to wake Harper up from her nap-this is how I found her laying. So sweet!
She loves her babies!
She put her sunglasses on and said Hollywood!
We hope that everyone had a Happy St. Patrick's Day and wore your green. Harper had her green on! Also, we want to wish our Popo a Happy Birthday today. We love you!
