Happy 18 Month Birthday Harper!

It's still hard for me to believe that Harper is 18 months old! It still seems like she's just a baby to me instead of the toddler that she is. She's amazes me everyday and I think she's so smart. She can sing "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star, "The Wheels on the Bus Go Round" (she loves the horn verse...she says "beep, beep, beep), and her ABC's. She tries to sing The Itsy Bitsy Spider as she does the hand movements and it's so funny to watch her. She can count to three and she's working on the different animal sounds. She's got the duck and cow down for sure and we're working on the dog and cat. She loves to wave at everyone, loves to give hugs and loves to give kisses and blow kisses. Since today is her half birthday we had to celebrate with a mini birthday party. Here are some pictures from today.
Her outfit says it all! "It's all about me"
Trying to blow out the candle!
If you look close you can see where Harper colored on this sign that she helped me make.
Also, as most of you know, Harper has had a fever virus. It started 2 days ago with a high fever of 102-103 so our pediatrician here wanted to see her since she didn't have any other symptoms. I took her yesterday and they checked her for strep, they checked her urine (with a catheter--and we sure wished we had our nurse Cindy to do this) and they did a CBC to check her blood. Everything came back normal and she was diagnosed with a fever virus. Thankfully today the highest her temp has gotten was 100 and she seemed to feel much better today and she played like normal. Hopefully tomorrow she'll be completely fever free. Harper has her 18 month check up appointment next Wednesday with Dr. Lytle so I'll update her weight and height after that appointment.
